The Backroader Magazine – Back On Track

After various delays over the past couple of years, the wheels are turning again on the production of our beloved Backroader Magainze!

We’re looking for YOUR stories about life on BC’s backroads – tell us about your trips, adventures, cleanups, rig builds, even your backcountry recipes. How about your scariest “whoops” moment, your most Red Green trail repair, or that time you went rogue and ignored your “better half’s” advice (could also be considered the scariest “whoops” moment)?

“But I’m not a writer!” you might be thinking – no problem! Put down your thoughts, and we’ll work with you to fine-tune them. You can type your story directly into the form below, upload it in most common document formats (text, Word, PDF, etc.), or email your submission to backroader+2023@4wdabc.ca

Of course, photos are always a plus, but please make sure to send original photos from your camera roll (unedited is best!), not screenshots or pictures saved from social media.

Deadline for submissions is midnight, July 15!

  1. I will be surprised, *IF* my submission makes it into the book, as I know you all dont like me.. I really have changed a lot over the last couple of years.. I just dont go looking for trouble anymore.. I have enough troubles of my own to worry about, and taking it out on people online, just isn’t fair to them, or anyone else that has to read my garbage..

    Hell, from the issues I have now, I dont ever wheel anymore.. the photos I submitted are among the few last times I went out.
