Pend’Orielle Cleanup

Meet at the Dragonfly in Salmo. We’ve scouted the area. We know what needs attention; now it’s time to clean it! Who is in?! It’ll be a fun day. But we do need a truck or two to help carry out the garbage. Is anybody willing to volunteer their vehicle for garbage removal? The Trail landfill has agreed to waive fees for us. I just need the description of your truck and plate number, so they know who to wave through.

Volunteers will need to bring :

– Sturdy gloves! This is the most important part please bring very good gloves

– Rakes and shovels preferably the wide plastic rakes but metal is good to.

– Does anybody have a tarp we can use to cover the garbage on the way to the dump?

– I can bring one of those magnetic sweeper things to pick up nails. 

– and I will pick up those thick sturdy garbage bags
