Norrish Creek Gate Code Program

Access to Norrish Creek is managed through a controlled gate system operated by the City of Abbotsford. Members of 4WDABC can request the current access code by completing the application below.

New Gate Code Effective January 2025

The City of Abbotsford is upgrading their internal systems and security. As a result, the current Norrish Creek gate code will become invalid as of January 1, 2025. Members must submit a new application to receive the updated code.

DETAILS
  • Both old and new codes will work until January 1
  • After that date, only the new code will be valid
  • The new code will be emailed upon successful application

Why Access is Controlled

The Norrish Creek drainage basin is a key freshwater source for Mission and Abbotsford. To help protect this area, access is controlled through a gated entry system.
The intent is not to restrict access, but to monitor and manage it responsibly while allowing continued recreational use.

REQUIREMENTS

Who Can Request the Code

Gate access is available only to active 4WDABC members.

You must be a current paid member of the 4WDABC to receive the gate code.

The gate code is issued for your use only and must not be shared or distributed to others.

ACCESS RESPONSIBILITIES

Using the Gate Responsibly

Access to Norrish Creek is based on trust and cooperation. All members are expected to follow the conditions set by the City of Abbotsford.

Misuse or unauthorized sharing of the code may result in the code being deactivated and loss of access for all members.
