This is still stock- and newbie-friendly\, but some clearance and 4WD with low range are required. \nWe welcome those who enjoy using their four-wheel-drive vehicle to explore and discover beautiful places. If you have no experience driving your 4×4 off-road in difficult or rough terrain and want to gain knowledge and experience in a friendly\, knowledgeable\, and safe environment\, this is the event for you. We always welcome experienced drivers who want a relaxed day and the opportunity to help novice wheelers. \nThere is a choice of five destinations during this run\, and we can do any three of them\, time permitting: the “warm-up challenge\,” Salsbury Lake\, Tank Trap\, The Grotto\, and Kenyon Lake. If we have a large number of rigs turn out\, then we may split into two groups and do things in a different order. Destination subject to change on-the-fly depending on conditions. \nFROM THE RUN LEADER:\nThis run is for novices and will feature some basic challenges. A proper four-wheel-drive vehicle with reasonable ground clearance and a willingness to learn new things is all that is required. \nOne of the goals of these runs is to help you determine what equipment\, tools\, and accessories you need; nobody should feel they aren’t “properly equipped” to attend. Please follow the directions from RSTBC. We’re told that the ranch put up a gate to stop logging traffic from rushing through\, and now the logging company is cutting a new road bypassing the ranch\, so directions may be updated later. \nThose wishing to convoy up can meet Cameron at the Hope Starbucks at 8:00 AM. \nWe’ll need pickups and trailers for hauling out the trash. If we have a large number of rigs turn out\, then we may split into two groups and do things in a different order.
