Whether you roll in a built rig or bring a truck/SUV with a trailer\, every helping hand matters! \nWhat to Bring: \n Gloves\n Shovels & rakes\n Tie-downs / tarps for hauling\n Trailers or trucks for debris transport \nWhat’s Provided:\n• Garbage bags\, disposal coordination\, pickers\, metal sweepers\, buckets\n• Team structure and trail assignments\n• Good vibes\, community spirit\, and likely a few muddy smiles \nA Moment of Respect \nAs November 11th holds significance\, we will be observing a moment of silence at 11:11 AM in honour of Remembrance Day before continuing our cleanup efforts. \nLet’s roll in\, clean up\, and leave Stave flats better than we found it.

SUMMARY:Radar Hill Cleanup
DESCRIPTION:Radar Hill in Campbell River has seen some significant illegal dumping and abandoned burnt vehicles\, and we want to see it cleaned up. We are organizing volunteers to come help restore the land back to nature.\n\nWe will be using machines to deal with large garbage and vehicles. We will need volunteers to help pick up smaller waste and load it into a waste bin that is being delivered to the site. Thanks to the Comox Valley Regional District\, tipping fees are being waived.\n\nThere are two dump sites. The one dumping site close to the entrance is where volunteers are needed to pick up trash. DESCRIPTION:Minimal snow means an early start to the camping season!  \nCome help us get Skwellepil ready for the coming year – we’re looking for volunteers to help with: \n\nHauling cut wood to stockpiles.\nBrush clearing.\nGarbage removal.\nUpper outhouse cleaning and maintenance.\nRemoving rocks and wood stacked in upper cross ditches.\n\nWe will supply cleaning materials for the outhouses and garbage; please bring your own work gloves. Water and snacks provided\, but please bring your own lunch. \nMeet at 10:00 AM\, Sunday\, March 22 (the day after the AGM) at the gravel lot by the four-way stop behind the Sasquatch Inn; convoy to Skwellepil pulls out at 10:30. \nImportant: RSVP below so we have an idea of how many to expect.
